> The below research participant solicitation is being provided for informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our research mission.
> Our research group at University of Wisconsin-Madison is studying blind and low vision people’s experiences with mainstream robots like the vacuum robots, Delivery Robot, drones etc. Based on the study, we will explore whether and how blind and low vision people have used different types of mainstream robots, what challenges they face, what is their coping strategy to use these robots, and how they want to improve the robots. This study will help us create technologies to enhance the accessibility of mainstream robots to blind and low vision users. We are looking for participants to participate in this study to help us with our work!
