> The below research participant solicitation is being provided for informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our research mission.
>
> A team at the Trace Research and Development Center, part of the College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland, is researching the time impact of accessibility barriers on Blind users. The knowledge that will be gained from this study can help managers and decision makers in understanding the impact of web accessibility barriers on Blind users. As a part of this research, we are recruiting legally Blind users with no residual vision who are located within the United States, are 18 years and older, and screen reader users not able to use screen magnification. We require a minimum of five years of experience with any screen reader.
>
> For those participating in this study, we will meet with you via the Zoom web conferencing application at a scheduled time, and we will ask you to use your computer to perform a series of tasks on websites that we have selected. We expect that it will take approximately two hours of your time (with a limit of no more than four hours), and you will be compensated with a $75 Amazon gift card. We expect to be recruiting users for participation until early April.
