> Dear Sorors,
>
> The Ritual of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is a cherished book that embodies our time-honored ceremonial traditions spanning the life of a Delta from her birth into our beloved sisterhood to her Omega Omega.
>
> The National Ritual and Ceremonies Commission is pleased to announce that the necessary updates and revisions to the Sorority’s Ritual are complete. Revisions in this 13th Edition of the Ritual include detailed implementation guidance, clarifying instructions, updated graphics, and harmonized musical scores. Of special merit is the inclusion and revision of two additional ceremonies, documented by 16th National President and Chair Emerita, Dr. Thelma T. Daley. Additionally, information regarding a version of the Ritual in braille is forthcoming. The diligent work to complete this revision was supported by the Documents Review and Management Committee, Scholarship and Standards Committee, and the Music Ministry Subcommittee of the National Arts and Letters Commission.
>
> With the pending release of the 13th Edition of the Ritual, we will no longer sell the current 12th Edition. The 13th Edition of the Ritual will be made available to all members in the coming weeks. Therefore, it is highly recommended that all sorors obtain a copy of this newest edition to ensure you follow our guiding principles and ritualistic ceremonies as currently written. Please be sure to check the Delta Store for its availability.
>
> A complimentary chapter copy of the Ritual will be sent to all active chapters for use alongside other ceremonial properties.
>
> As you use this 13th Edition of the Ritual, remember its history and value to our members. When you recite the words during our ceremonies, take the time to focus on their meaning and incorporate those words into your daily lives. Remember, always, “to quicken and inspire, strive and attain for Delta.”
