[GreaterPhilly] Visiting the US

That's nice you are helping them. in my country we have nothing
available to buy blindness wise. I got a couple of braille, large
print and twin books for my students from friends. it is also bad
because if a brailler brakes we don't have specialized services to
repare them, spare parts to get and all that so it is really
frustrating. if you ever want to come to my country and visit me and
my school, think it would be great. That way you would get to know us
and find out how we work.

I host a few facebook groups ad well and am surprised that Americans
don't know much about what they can get. Many of them seem afraid to
reach for help too because they haven't accepted their blindness. Some
people tell me that I know more than them about resources than they
themselves know.

Hope you have a nice day,

 Adrijana
