Hello all,

Please see the updated announcements for our upcoming chapter meeting.

The Greater Philadelphia Chapter’s monthly meeting will take place on
Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Park Tower Apartments in the Community Room,
located at 4001 Conshohocken Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19131.

The Greater Philadelphia Chapter (GPC) is a proud part of the National
Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania (NFB of PA). The National
Federation of the Blind is the oldest and largest organization of blind
people in the United States, working to improve opportunities for blind
individuals, promote independence, and advocate for equality through
education, advocacy, and community support.

Light refreshments will be served from 9:15 AM to 10 AM. The meeting will
begin at 10 AM and conclude at 12 PM.

For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom option will be available for
the 10 AM meeting. The link is below.

We are still collecting funds for our Atlantic City Casino Bus Fundraiser.
Tickets are $35 and include $18 in slot play. Please bring exact change to
the meeting and give it to Acting Treasurer Louis Colquitt.

Board Director James Robinson will be available after the meeting for
anyone interested in purchasing seasonings and sauces from his business,
The Blind Cuisine. Seasonings are $7 and sauces are $10.

Kevin Cross from the Baltimore County Chapter will also be staying after
the meeting to sell his cane keepers for $31.75.

Member Christine Brunson is selling mugs for her organization, Purple House
Project PA, for $10 each.

Additionally, if you would like to stay afterward, the Office of
Commissioner Deeley will be hosting a Voting Machine Demonstration from
12:30 PM to 3 PM. We have been invited to attend and participate.
