Greetings from Austin, where, until today, it's been COOLER than Philadelphia!

This week’s Federation Focus comes from Cira Green, 12 stories above the Schuylkill River, where David shares details about the Keystone Chapter’s upcoming Coast-to-Coast Movement Challenge event.

First, the Keystone Chapter meets on Saturday, July 11, at 10:15 AM at the Penn Museum, 3260 South Street in Philadelphia, and via Zoom. Then, on August 8, after the next Keystone Chapter meeting, members and friends will walk from the Penn Museum to Cira Green, climb the stairs, and continue around the rooftop park as part of the National Federation of the Blind’s Coast-to-Coast Movement Challenge.

Please support Keystone by making a small donation to help them reach their $250 goal.  Chapters and divisions across Pennsylvania are encouraged to sign up, get moving, and create their own Coast-to-Coast challenge events.

Join the 2026 Coast-to-Coast Movement Challenge—a nationwide effort for NFB chapters and affiliates to raise awareness, deepen connections, and generate support for our mission. Learn more at https://nfb.org/movers.

Greater Philadelphia Chapter Cabaret Fundraiser

Join the Greater Philadelphia Chapter for a night of music, fun, and community at our Cabaret Fundraiser on Friday, October 30, from 7:00 to 11:00 PM at 800 W. Albany Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19120. Tickets are $40, and this 21-and-over event is BYOB. No coolers or ice, please, but a setup with an ice bucket and cups will be available for purchase.
