Fundraisers
Last Call for April Raffle Tickets
It's the final push for one of our most exciting fundraisers of the
year--and it could still put cash in your pocket all April long. Make
those last sales, return your ticket stubs and money, and be part of the
excitement. Drawings take place nightly in April just before 7:00 PM,
with $50 winners Sunday through Friday and a $100 winner every Saturday.
Every ticket sold directly supports our general fund, helping members
attend State and National Conventions, Washington Seminar, and other
essential programs. Let's finish strong--for you and for our Federation.
Spring Fling Blind Vendors Showcase
The Pennsylvania Association of Blind Merchants invites you to join us
for the Spring Fling Blind Vendors Showcase on Saturday, April 11, 2026,
from 4:00 to 10:00 PM at the DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Airport.
This high-energy evening brings together blind entrepreneurs from across
Pennsylvania for a unique combination of fundraising, networking, and
showcasing incredible businesses. Your ticket includes a full buffet, a
two-hour open bar for adults, and raffle entries--making it a night
that's as fun as it is impactful. Whether you're coming to support,
shop, connect, or explore sponsorship opportunities, everything you need
to get involved is in one place: https://www.pablindmerchants.org/fling

White Canes Connect
In this episode of White Canes Connect, host David Goldstein speaks with
Kaleigh Brendle, founder and president of Judy's League and a recent
graduate of Villanova University preparing to begin law school. Kaleigh
is a passionate disability rights advocate dedicated to protecting the
civil rights of disabled Americans through education, outreach, and
grassroots organizing.
Kaleigh joins the show to discuss Judy's League, a cross-disability
advocacy organization she founded in response to legal challenges
threatening Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973--one of the
foundational civil rights protections for people with disabilities. The
conversation explores the ongoing lawsuit Texas v. Kennedy, why Section
504 matters, and how advocacy groups are working to ensure these
protections remain intact.
