Hello all,
Even if you are unable to attend the 2026 National Federation of the Blind
National Convention in person in Austin, Texas, you can still be part of
the experience virtually.
The convention will take place from July 3 through July 8, 2026, and the
NFB is once again offering a Virtual Experience for those who cannot travel
to the convention in person.
The National Federation of the Blind National Convention Virtual Experience
is a dedicated online space for engagement, learning, networking, and
connection with Federationists from across the country.
The Virtual Experience registration fee is only $10 and includes:
* Access to the convention mobile app
* Opportunities to participate in exclusive virtual convention activities
* Eligibility to win door prizes
This is a great opportunity to stay connected, attend sessions, and
experience many aspects of the national convention from the comfort of your
home.
In addition, if we have enough members signed up for the virtual
convention, the Greater Philadelphia Chapter may host a Convention Banquet
Party so we can gather together locally and enjoy part of the convention
experience as a chapter community.
Because of this, we encourage everyone interested in participating
virtually to sign up as soon as possible. Please register by May 31, 2026,
so we can determine interest and begin planning.
To learn more and register, please visit the convention website.

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
