To our esteemed members of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter,
We are writing to provide important information for those planning to attend the upcoming State Convention. Should you require any form of assistance or support from the State to facilitate your participation, please ensure you make your request in a timely manner.
All inquiries and requests for state-level assistance must be submitted to one of the following contacts:* Lynn Heitz, President of the National Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania: president at nfbofpa.org* Michelle McManus, Second Vice President of PA: Mmcmanus at nfbofpa.org
Please note that the final deadline for submitting these requests is **September 5th**. Adhering to this date is crucial, as the process for state assistance applications requires a minimum of 60 days for comprehensive review, approval, and the subsequent issuance of necessary forms. Your prompt communication will ensure that your request can be processed efficiently and that you receive all required application materials well in advance of the convention.
