Hello all,
We are excited to begin highlighting our GPC members in our monthly digest
newsletter! To help our members get to know one another better, we are
asking each member to submit a short biography that we can feature in an
upcoming issue of the newsletter.
Your bio can include information such as:
* When and how you became involved with the National Federation of the
Blind (NFB).
* How you first learned about the NFB.
* The things you have done for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter (GPC).
* Any NFB-related activities, accomplishments, leadership roles,
committees, or events you have participated in at the local, state, or
national level.
* Things you are currently involved in outside of the NFB that you would
like other members to know about.
* Personal information, interests, hobbies, accomplishments, or anything
else you would like to share.
These are simply suggestions. Your bio can be as personal or professional
as you would like, and you are welcome to include anything that you feel
would help others get to know you better.
Please submit your bio by December 31, 2026. We encourage everyone to take
this opportunity to share your story and help us celebrate the many
accomplishments, experiences, and talents within our GPC family.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact
me.
Sincerely,
Stacie

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
