National Federation of the Blind’s National Organization of Blind Black Leaders Presents:

“Honoring Ron Brown and Dorothy Barksdale”

Ron Brown served on our national board and as an affiliate president for many years. We are delighted to show our appreciation for his years of service and commitment to our movement.

We will also honor the late Dorothy Barksdale, a member of the Columbia Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of SC. Dorothy served on the board of the Columbia Chapter as well as the board of the NFB of SC. She was also an entrepreneur who contributed significantly to the blind community in Columbia, SC. We are honored to posthumously celebrate her life and lasting contribution.

You are invited to attend, and we will have a segment where people can share warm words of appreciation and memories of Ron and Dorothy as well.
