<p style="margin-bottom:20px"><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="background:white"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="color:black">The National Federation of the Blind determines the total amount available for the Dr. Jacob Bolotin Awards each year based on the trust income received. The number of awards and the amount of each award will be determined by the NFB’s Dr. Jacob Bolotin Award Committee based on its evaluation of eligible and deserving applicants.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p>

Talkington, actor, director, and founder and executive director of Access Acting Academy, a nonvisual training program for blind performers with the goal of increasing participation of the blind in arts and entertainment. A second award of twenty-five thousand dollars was presented to Geneva Lake Astrophysics and STEAM Education for their innovative programs to make astronomical data and the study of astrophysics accessible to blind people.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
