<h1><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 24pt;">Blind Technology Users Needed for Study on Privacy and Visual Assistive Technology</span></h1>
<p><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">The Inclusive Design Lab is recruiting blind participants for 1.5-hour interviews over Zoom in September 2021. The aim of the interviews is to learn about blind people's understanding of visual privacy and preferences for how visual assistance technologies may be designed to preserve their privacy. Examples of commonly used visual assistance technologies include Aira, Be My Eyes, Seeing AI, TapTapSee, KNFB Reader.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Participants will partake in a 1.5-hour interview over Zoom in September 2021. The interview will cover the participants' demographics, experience using visual assistance technologies, thoughts about privacy, familiarity with privacy-preserving techniques, and desire for privacy-preserving features in visual assistance technologies.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Selected participants will be compensated with an Amazon gift card at the rate of $25.00/hour.
