events. Starting today February 1^st, I will send monthly emails
outlining the details you need to know about the audio-described events taking
place in that given month. </p>

all within the theatre sector. First, on Friday February 7^th at 7:30
PM, Nicole Sardella will be describing the Broadway musical Come From Away. This
will take place at the Academy of Music and is presented by the Ensemble Arts
Philly Broadway Series. </p>

and open captioned performances of Michael Hollinger’s new play called Holy
Grail of Memphis. The performances take place on Friday February 14 at 7:00 PM,
as well as Saturday, February 15^th at 2:00 PM. Audio description
will be provided by Nicole Sardella. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Here is a description of the play. “When Newton Stover II
discovers the long-lost recordings of a legendary bluesman in the basement of
his granddaddy’s rundown music studio, he resolves to rebuild his life and
legacy. But time and money are running out fast, and the ghosts of the past — and
an unexpected stranger — keep showing up. 
Holy Grail of Memphis is a new comedy by Philadelphia playwright Michael
Hollinger about embracing the future, releasing what haunts us, and singing the
blues.” </p>

audio-described performance, so it would be great to support them! The
production is entitled Hold These Truths by Jeanne Sakata. Audio description
will be given by Nicole Sardella and will take place on Sunday February 16^th
at 3:00 PM. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Here is a description of the play: “Experience an
exceptional evening of theater which chronicles the inspiring true story of
civil rights hero Gordon Hirabayashi. In WWII, he courageously refused to
comply with the U.S. government’s relocation camps that forcibly interned
thousands of Japanese families. This heartwarming play explores Hirabayashi’s
journey to the Supreme Court as he struggles to reconcile his country’s
betrayal with his deep belief in the U.S. Constitution.” </p>
