It just may well be in sleep mode.  You can change this in the power
settings from the control pannel.

With XP, I would often leave my computer on for long periods, unattended. 
If I do  this with VISTA, my computers sounds like it is in sleep mode. 
JAWS then comes on, and I have to log in.

In Window-eyes, I get a silent computer.  I don't get a remote version of 
Window-eyes..  In fact, I get a message that I have had an unexpected 
shutdown.

I am wondering how to change the interval of this behavior.
