[gui-talk] free daisy player

Hey Ray,

ah! Okay, you guys. Not only do I not use a Braille notetaker or this or
that device, but I'm not signed up with RFB&D at all! that would explain why
this all sounds so strange to me. I don't mean "strange," as in weird. I
just mean mysterious. So there's some sort of thing where you pay something
and then you can download something and then you can play it on something.
Don't even try to explain. Obviously it's over my head because I don't do
any of this stuff. I'm relieved. Al, you confused the hell out of me! Not
fair!

That's correct. However, I expect that the reasoning for the key is
still the same, in that you can only play the material on certain
specialized players due to copyright issues and protecting their
materials. In other words, if you were hoping to play protected NLS
content in Windows media or Winamp, it's likely not going to happen
anytime soon. Hopefully FS and the other notetaker/screen reader
manufacturers will add the ability to play NLS content soon though.
That will at least open the door to a new user group, and one that may
not be as likely to get a specialized player, or who may not have one
for whatever other reason.

Jmt,
Wayne
