Greetings,
The following event has been posted to the <http://www.gwmicro.com/events>GW Micro Upcoming Events page:
Name: Office 2007, Windows 7, and Window-Eyes with GW Micro and Hadley School for the Blind
When: Tuesday, August 18, 2009
What: Online Seminar
Who: Jeremy Curry and Amy Salmon (Hadley Instructor)
Comments: Windows 7 will be replacing Windows Vista when it officially ships to the general public on October 22 of this year. As we have been doing for years, GW Micro has again pioneered the latest in screen reader technology with Window-Eyes 7.1 being the one of the first screen readers to support Windows 7. Window-Eyes 7.1 allows you to use Windows 7 with the stability, reliability, and performance that Window-Eyes is well-known for, allowing you to learn to use Windows 7, rather than wondering if your screen reader will even work with Windows 7.

Having Window-Eyes support an operating system before it even ships to the general public is historic, extremely exciting, and an enormous feat for GW Micro. To keep you up-to-date with the latest technology, we have teamed up with Hadley School for the Blind for a special online seminar entitled, _Office 2007, Windows 7, and Window-Eyes._ Below is the official announcement from Hadley School for the Blind. The official announcement is also on the web at http://www.hadley.edu/5_c_seminarAtHadley.asp. You can access the Registration link directly by going to http://www.hadley.edu/2_f_seminarhadley_register.asp.

Date: Tuesday, August 18
Time: 1:00 PM CDT, 18:00 GMT

Vista out, Windows 7 in. Menus out, ribbons in. If you are confused, you are not alone. Join us for Seminars at Hadley on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 1 p.m. CDT (18:00 GMT) for demonstrations and training on Window-Eyes with the Windows 7 operating system and Office 2007. During this 60-minute interactive online seminar, Jeremy Curry, GW Micro_s Training Division Manager, will demonstrate how Window-Eyes supports Windows 7 and Office 2007. You also will learn about Window-Eyes latest implementation of an advanced open-language scripting engine, which allows for many things, including JAVA support without the need for the JAVA Access Bridge.
The seminar will be moderated by Amy Salmon, Hadley instructor, and will include time for questions. To register for the seminar, follow the "Registration" link below.
