thinking about netbooks, is my guess.

Joel, net books are real computers they're just smaller than most of them.
However, when you've read about them you've probably heard mention of cloud
computing because they're low memory and drive space make working on the web
a more natural outgrowth of their limitations.  I suspect many net book
users purchase the hardware they lack but many more will already have a desk
top machine and print, burn, rip, scan along with anything else they might
want to do from it.  They can always transfer the results to the net book
with a thumb drive.

A netbook is a real computer that has a real operating system and a real
hard drive.
they are smaller then your conventional laptops.
