I believe the Mac's official release date is some time in October.  After
that date The machines being displayed will run the latest version of their
operating system.  If not you be told and gain the ability to upgrade to it.

That's not exactly responsive to what I was asking. I'm saying, and I'm sure

you think you're saying but it's only implying, that if I bought a Mac
around holiday time, it would have the coming OS whose voice stuff is
supposed to be even better than the current OS.

Also, if I happen to get a Windows laptop or Pc, I suppose it'll come with
Windows 7? I don't want to get stuck having to deal with the notorious
Vista. Nobody blind seems to like it at all. People like you seem simply to
have given up complaining, because its product life may almost be over.

When is this new one due? Will most or all Mac computers be redesigned and
preloaded with this new OS in order to try and maximize sales? Or will it
just be something most people with reasonably recent-model Mac, desktop or
laptop, will just download and install?
