Don,

I'm using Outlook 2007 at the moment, but I looked into this when I was
using 2003 and I'm pretty sure the situation hasn't changed.

The info is stored in a file called Outlook.nk2. It's location depends
on your operating system; I'm using Windows 7 and it's in
C:\Users\Steve\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook.

You can't edit the file directly. To remove a name from the list, start
an email and when the list appears, press Delete when focus is on the
one you don't want. It's useful for getting rid of the odd name, but not
for searching through the whole file. I believe you can get hold of
utilities that will allow you to open and manage the Outlook.nk2 file,
but I've never investigated them.

Steve

Still learning the ins and outs of using Outlook 2003 for my Email.
When I
hit control n to start a new Email and start typing the Email address I
get
a auto complete suggestion for what I start to type. This auto complete
list appears to include every address of anyone I have sent a Email to.
Where is this info stored and how do you remove names from the list?
