I had one situation where the login screen won't display at all. Somehow
I got it back to life, but it almost meant doing a reinstall using
guesswork I must say. This is after Windows 7 shutting down my laptop
due to critical battery level (3%). Since then when it reaches low (10%)
I let it charge. Have not had this problem since. I also use CCleaner
every few days, especially if I notice a lag in bootup time. After doing
the housekeeping and rebooting all is well. Just some observations.
