[gui-talk] netbooks vs sony vayo computer

LINDOWS is a graphical form of linux that has the look and feel of
Windows.  What is interesting is that many of the netbooks that I have
seen that offer linux axtually cost more than the ones that offer XP.

They often run around $300 and I've heard Aser makes some of the best.
Watch out though.  Some of these don't run Windows they run Lindows
because
it's cheaper and takes up less space.  Jaws won't work on these.

i think that they are smaller, as they have screens ranging from 7 to 10
inches.

a few weeks ago, there was some discussion of the netbook computers. I
know these computers do not have a cd/dvd drive. but i was wondering if
they were similar to the size of the sony vayo computers. i know they're
not as expensive. thanks.
