The most startling change going from any version to jjaws 10 is that forms
mode is automated -- you will hear little sound effects on a web page when
you enter or leave form fields as you arrow around. This can be a little
confusing at first, but after a few days of it I was hooked -- I really like
this feature.
Yes, everything in jaws 7,8,9 is carried over into 10. 10 also has the
tandem feature that allows you to surrender control to your tech support
person who takes over and issue jaws commands as if he/she were you.
There have been lots of fixes since 6 -- but I upgrade every time a new
version comes out so I don't remember what all has gone in. That is quite a
large span of releases.
Anyway, good luck and enjoy... Don't let the shark byte.

Subject: [gui-talk] JAWS 10
OK, I have the JAWS 10 version in my hands ready to install. I am currently
using Jaws 6 a couple questions please:
Since I haven't updated from 6 to 10 will I get all those newer versions (7,
8, 9 ) when I install 10?
What major changes can I expect or have to get use to?
I like most people don't like change (except my underwear) so is it going
to be a lot of changes or can I expect to have everything mesh and I will
learn the changes as I use it?
Thanks and I will probably be asking more questions after I install this.
Dave
