[gui-talk] Attractive or repulsive netbooks with JAWS?

laptop sound is almost always crappy anyway. When you buy on line,
almost always, one of the options they try to sell you are external
speakers. These help greatly, if you want to listen to music, and some
even run off of the USB port.

I imagine that you're right. Since I have something of a hearing loss,
I'd probably opt for headphones in all but the most quiet environs.
And I wouldn't plan on listening to symphonies seriously on any netbook
anyway.

Be well.

While I haven't heard one of these I'd prepare to use headphones. I
doubt they've spent many scarce resources on the amplifier or speakers
but I could be wrong.

I'm thinking of trying a netbook so that I can enjoy the warmer weather
outside and still have my head stuck in cyberspace.

Have folks found specific brands or models notably attractive with
regard to keyboards, built-in sound, etc. using JAWS?

TIA
