Ray and you other guys who are trying out this MS antivirus and antispyware
program:
I'm currently using, let's see, Avast! free edition for antivirus and Super
Anti Spyware for spyware. I also have Windows Defender turned on, although I
forget how I did that. Apparently, none of this combination involves any
conflicts.
But what about if you download and install this new thing? Can you do that
and not bother removing the others I mention, including Windows Defender? Or
ought I to uninstall all of them if I'm going to run this new MS deal? And
if I do that, will the new program be adequate to quell my conscience about
using it, and only it?
Thanks. I'm encouraged by Ray's comments, below, as I'm not that technically
astute nor especially patient and I'm not fascinated to spend hours learning
to understand and use software. I mean, obviously I can learn what I have
to, or else I'd be a real Jaws dummy and so forth, which I'm not.but as I
say, spending hours and hours on a tech learning curve just ain't my idea of
how to spend whatever time I've got left on this planet, y'all.
Sincerely, wearing white quarter socks and old, half-collapsed Sperry
Topsiders,

Got it. Works great so far. Am still testing to see how much faster my
machine is now, but, I just love the UI!
Thanks.
