If you're a member of bookshare, the victor reader program is a free
download from their site, but you have to be logged in. Go to
www.bookshare.org
The whole idea of having DAISY is to prevent mass free copies of books from
being downloaded by persons who may not have a print disability. Bookshare
membership is not that expensive. And for that matter, the FSReader is also
not that expensive. If you go with bookshare you will not only get the
victor reader but a year's worth of practically unlimited downloads of
books.
If someone has tried hacking a free daisy reader, it is not only a waste of
time but also unfair to the people who produce books.
Happy reading.

Anyone know of a free Daisy player available for download? Any information

There is a Braille literacy crisis in America.
You can be part of the solution.
