[gui-talk] Can't open pages with IE 8

Running IE 8 on a Vista 64 bit machine.  It would seem that if I try to hit
enter on a link that then opens a .mpg or mp3 via Windows media player I get
the message that the page can't be opened.  What setting needs to be changed
to make IE 8 and Windows Media player work together?  Things open just fine
with Firefox but IE 8 is my choice in browsers.  Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
