Trekker maps 3.2 and Map Manager 2.0.9 now released

Humanware is pleased to announce the release of Map Manager 2.0.9 and
Trekker Maps 3.2. Both the Map manager upgrade and Maps 3.2 for your
country are available at no charge for download. The Map Manager can be
downloaded directly from our Trekker support page. Maps 3.2 must be
requested. To obtain authorization for Maps 3.2 please follow the map
upgrade procedure described below.

What's new in Map Manager?
1.	New Unicode version that supports languages such as Polish.
2.	Trekker users can convert old routes to the new route format of
Trekker version 3.1.
3.	The replacement of an old map by its updated version is now
possible when the SD card is installed in the Breeze.

Map Manager is available for free download from the Humanware Web site
support page:
http://www.humanware.com/en-usa/support/trekker_and_maestro/software

Installation: Please uninstall the old Trekker Map Manager before
installing the new version.

What's new in Maps 3.2?
1.	Updated data from Navteq including :
*	Increased number of Points of interest per category.
*	More sub-categories : Accommodation, Campground, Cargo Centre,
Government Office, Military base, Public restroom, Public Transit,
Residential Area, Taxi stand, Transportation Service. In the Breeze,
these sub-categories are shown in the "All" categories field.
*	Updated street information and corrections.

Please note that updates, new P.O.Is and categories vary depending on
each country or region.

2.	The maps are now in UTF8 and we support the special characters
required for languages such as Cantonese, Polish and others.

Map upgrade procedure
Each customer can request a license for one map only through our
automatic license system. The license will provide authorization for a
map equivalent to the one originally included when you purchased the
product. For example in the US, a Breeze customer is allowed to select a
US regional map and a Trekker Pro customer is allowed to select the full
country map.

Other requests such as obtaining a second map for European countries, or
a country map for Breeze in US, will require a manual request through
the customer service.

To obtain Trekker maps, customers must follow the steps described below:

1.	Access the Humanware license site at:
http://license.humanware.com. Please have your product serial number and
your e-mail address on hand.
2.	Obtain a license by subscribing to the Humanware license site.
Users will need to select their device (Trekker or Breeze), then enter
its serial number and your email address.
3.	Customers must choose the map to download and submit the
request. One map per serial number is allowed.
4.	Humanware will send an email containing the password-protected
link to download the new map. A high speed connection is recommended.
5.	Follow the instructions to download the selected map from the
FTP site.
6.	If you do not receive the email with the download link, you can
login to the license site, "My licenses" page, and request a copy of the
secured link by selecting the Breeze or Trekker device and confirming
"download".

Customers with larger maps (US, for example) can request the maps on CD
at a cost of 14.99 US$ shipping included.

It is also possible to request the map installed on the SD card at a
cost of 33.00 AU$ inclusive of shipping.

Offer ends September 30, 2010.

Map 3.2 and Map Manager 2.0.9 will be shipping with Trekker units.
