[gui-talk] rockbox for MP3 players

A Google search (always a good thing to try before asking questions) yields
the site

www.rockbox.org

the software only works on certain MP3 players; it would appear that the
Sansa Clip is not one of them.

"Close but no cigar!"

Subject: [gui-talk] rockbox for MP3 players

Hello list:
Does anyone know where I can get the Rockbox software that makes
MP3 players, like the Sansa clip, talk? Is this piece of software
free of charge? if not, how much does it cost? Can it be
installed directly onto an MP3 player with an application such as
activeSync or such?
I have a Sansa Clip + 4 gb with me and I would like to make it
more accessible with this software. Have you had any experiences
with this software?
