Yes, the online version is very different. It was completely accessible to me using JAWS this year and I completed my taxes independently. Not sure about Window-eyes.

I tried using the CD addition with Window-Eyes, but that's not working.  I wonder if the online version is different.  I'd really like to file my own taxes, but I only have a few days to get it done.  *smile*  There is little information out there about the accessibility of tax software.  Any ideas?  thanks.
