[gui-talk] does anyone know the equivalent to it?

Some stuff is found under maintenance.  You can also run chkdsk, type 
windows-r which opens up a command prompt then type chkdsk /f that is 
c h k d s k space slash f and it will say disk in use do you want to 
run next time you reboot y/n? or something like that.  Type y and hit 
enter and the program will run, and fix errors the next time you reboot.
