Hi, Tom,
Yes, I got a Samsun Haven a few months ago, and like it a lot. It's my first accessible cell phone.
It's just a phone,mind - no web surfing, playing music or games.
But you can make phone calls and send/receive text message, if you want.
It's very affordable, compared to I- phones.

There was a series of podcasts a while back on Main Menu that talks you thru the functionality, and 
the user manual is accessible and downloadable from Sansung.
