pard my grammar let me fix this up a bit.
Mike-

In Microsoft Outlook 2010, the default font that is used when you
create, reply to, or forward an email message is 11-point Calibri. You
can change the default font and its color, size, and style — such as
bold or italic.

I found this information on the web searching Google using the
following words: change default font size in outlook 2010 and want to
the second link office.microsoft.com this is the spot for office
support for 2010 and many other versions of office.

**Change the default font style for new messages that you compose
    Click the File tab.
    Click Options.
    Click Mail.
Under Compose messages, click Stationery and Fonts.
On the Personal Stationery tab, under New mail messages, click Font.
On the Font tab, under Font, click the font that you want to use
for all new messages.
If you want, select a font style and size.
Click OK on the Font, the Signatures and Stationery, and the
Outlook Options dialog boxes.
When you create a message, the new settings take effect.

**Change the default font style for messages that you reply to or forward
    Click the File tab.
    Click Options.
    Click Mail.
Under Compose messages, click Stationery and Fonts.
On the Personal Stationery tab, under Replying or forwarding
messages, click Font.
On the Font tab, change the font options to what you want to use
for future messages.
Click OK on the Font, the Signatures and Stationery, and the
Outlook Options dialog boxes.

When you reply to or forward a message, the new settings take effect.

Let me know if this works on outlook for you and if you need help
with your screen reader feel free to ask. I will be able to help with
JAWS or NVDA, if needed.
Hope this helps and sorry about the bad grammar and bad link in the
first email. It was driving me crazy I needed to fix it as well as it
might have drove you crazy too.
