Hi,
The L-G Revere, is a new phone that is becoming very popular with the Blind.
it does not talk completely however it's good.
It's a flip Phone.
The buttons are slightly raised and are spread apart and has a talk button
above the end button.
There is a raised line between the 1,2,3 keys and the send and hang up keys
which has a dot on them.
It has a button above the send button for the speaker part and a rocker type
switch on the side.
many phones do not have a rocker switch on the side for the volume.
It's a sturdy phone and the keys talk.
It has good sound and Verizon has it with the Pre Paid plan for $50.00 a
month or you can still get the two year contract.
The Phone is $40.00 with the Pre Paid Plan.
It is loud!
Go to the Verizon Web Site and do a search for it or Google it.
You can push the talk button and it will ask you to say a command, just say
the command and it will tell you the time, battery, contacts etc.
It is a basic flip phone, not a Smart Phone!!!
From, Tom

Allen,

I would be happy with a very basic phone if I could find one with a speaker
that didn't sound tinnyl. I am hard-of-hearing, and many cellphones are
difficult for me to use for that reason. I would be willing to get a larger
phone for better sound quality, but incoming and outgoing.
