And when using JAWS, once you've found the link, you should go of of it and
then tab back to it to make sure the pointers are right on it so you get all
the choices when you right-click (hit the Applications Key).

I was both able to open the file and read it, and download and save
it, so either your system isn't set up properly, or you are doing
something wrong.
When I hit enter on the journalism link, the PDF opened up on my
system. If you have the proper plug-in installed for your browser,
or have acrobat reader installed and set to read on-line files, there
will be no problem. I right clicked on the file and there was a
"save target as" choice.
