I have xp on my desktop and Eudora would do everything except open an
attachment. It just said there was no means available. Maybe you have a
later version of Eudora? I have, as far as I can determine, 7.1. May I ask
the version you are using?

I rarely have trouble with attachments. Usually, if I do, it's due to some
other application issue. I forgot to say though that I am still using XP.
What happened when you tried to open attachments?
