I have a 1tb drive that is in my laptop. It has the os and naturally all the apps that I use installed. It runs windows8 pro. Is there a way to partition ;this drive to create a virtual d drive so that if I ever have to reformat the c drive the proposed new d drive won't be affected? Can I do this without having to reformat and do everything from scratch on the c drive? Any information would be appreciated.
