Rob:

WordPad can read doc files.

Press Windows with the R key, type documents, press Enter. You should see files there. However, the file doesn't always go there when you download from the Internet unless you force it there. By default, downloaded files go into your downloads folder.

Subject: [gui-talk] my documents

I am trying to do one of two things. I just received the 2014 national nfb confention ajenda. I can’t seem to open it.

I tried to save it in my documents. I go to my documents and can’t seem to find where all of my documents are listed.

Also, the ajenda seems to be a word document. I only have wordpad on my computer.

I understand that windows eight doesn’t have ms word any more. Is that so?

Thanks.
