[gui-talk] problem while using nvda, windows 8.1, and internet explorer

Hello listers,

One of our Hadley students is using NVDA 2015.1, Windows 8.1, and Internet Explorer.  He is saying that the NVDA hotkeys work until he goes on the internet.  When he loads any web page the hotkeys do nothing.  For example, in Word the insert+t key combination reads the title of the document.  But when he goes on the internet the insert+t key says nothing.
Does NVDA have trouble on the internet with Windows 8.1?
