Did the screen actually get cracked or is there a problem somehow with the
video? I ask that because my husband took his cellphone to a place where
they told him his screen was cracked, and that he must have dropped it. He
hadn't dropped it, and could feel no crack on the screen, but it looked like
there was one because there was a line down the middle. He and I thought it
was a problem in the software, but we couldn't convince the people in the
store of that. Pam.

Subject: [gui-talk] flat screen
Good Evening all:
I have a question which might be a little off topic.
Last week, my fiance noticed that the screen on the computer had a crack in
it. We have a flat screen computer.
The computer showed a black screen. After restarting the computer, it came
up normal. My question is this:
Can the glass on the computer be replaced? If so, is this something that
might cost more than getting a new computer?
I am concerned about this, bcause this is really my fiance’s computer. She
is fully sighted, and I would like this computer to be usable for her as
well.
Thanks in advance.
