Some techicians charge up to $200 an hour to repair a PC, so a four hour job
plus the cost of parts could very well cost $1000. Of course, for that kind
of money, you could buy a new computer. But then you might still have to
hire a technician to set it up, unless you are fortunate enough to have
tech-savvy sighted help on hand.

Why would you have to spend a thousand bucks to get the computer fixed?
That would be a new computer. I've never heard of paying that much to get a
computer fixed. Pam.
