Andy,

I am assuming that you have loaded the target browser onto your system.

Hit the windows key, type "default browser", hit enter, it will show you your default browser, hit enter, hit tab and you will be taken to the other browsers on your system one at a time, hit enter on the browser you want, and you are done.

Note, to make a universal favorites folder:
Make a "favorites" directory. I put it in my documents directory. Use the context key to use the "send to" menue to make a favorites shortcut on your desktop. Go to your desktop and hit f until you find your favorites shortcut. I always edit the name to just be "favorites".

If you have a website you want to save: hit control + l to get the address field which is already selected, hit control +c to copy the address. Go to the favorites folder open the favorites folder, hit the context key, arrow up twice to "new" hit it, arrow down to "shortcut", hit enter, hit control + v to put the address in the address field, tab to next and enter, write a description to the shortcut and tab to done. Now you have a shortcut. When you want to use the shoretcut, go to the favorites directory and select your shortcut and hit enter,
and you are taken to the web page with your default browser. This works for all browsers.

I use JAWS with chrome. Unfortunately chrome does not seem to activate all the buttons on certain web pages like Chase bank. If I need to use buttons on a web site, I go back to internet explorer. In chrome, hit control + l to get the web address, hit control + c to copy it, open internet explorer, hit control + l to go to the address field, and hit control + v then hit enter.

I would be interested to know if people are having problems getting chrome to activate buttons.

Louis Maher
