[GUI-Talk] Question about using VMWare

I'm not sure how well I understand your situation, but in case my probably underinformed comments are of use:

You could ask if you could get a VM dedicated for your use. If so, see if you can do one of these things:

1. Get them to let you connect via Remote Desktop, also called RDP. I can't remember if you need an extra license for your JAWS for that like you do for Citrix, but I know the VM copy of JAWS would not need its own license. You
probably would need a dedicated VM though because JAWS does have to be installed in it for remote use.

2. If you are ok using NVDA instead of JAWS, you could try setting that up in the VM and putting the NVDA Remote add-on in both your copy and the VM copy. This setup can actually let you work with NVDA even at the VM Windows
security screen I believe. You do not need Remote Desktop for this approach, though you would probably need help setting up NVDA in the VM initially.

3. You could always try turning on Narrator after logging into the VM. That's Ctrl+Win+Enter in current versions of Windows 10 and Win+Enter in older versions of Windows 10. You said audio is not supported, but I wonder if
audio will be sent to you in this case. If so, it would likely be choppy and slow and distorted but possibly helpful anyway.

I figured out last night that the virtual machines on campus don't support audio output anyway so this should be fun!
