[GUI-Talk] Upgrade to windows 10 and its impact on kurzweil 1000

I have Kurzweil 1000  Version 14.13 running on Windows 10 and it works just
fine.  If you call Kurzweil ((800) 894-5374) you can upgrade to the latest
version and get a download link.  Upgrades are not free but it would be
worthwhile to do if you can.

Dear all.

I am not sure what would be the appropriate forum to ask this question. So,
I am trying my luck here. I am planning to upgrade from windows 7 to windows
10. I am wondering if my existing kurzweil 1000 will be compatible with
windows 10. I have lost the installation disc and kurzweil makes it quite
difficult to send replacement disc . I just wanted to be sure about the fate
of Kurzweil and associated .kes files before upgrading to Windows 10. 
I will appreciate any information regarding compatibility of kurzweil 1000
with windows 10. And whether upgradation can happen without disturbing the
existing appplication as is the case with any other compatible application.
