Greetings and salutations:

For anyone who has had to struggle to use the Google Drive web interface and
who feels that memorizing a bunch of keyboard shortcut commands is simply
not something that sounds at all appealing, there is an application called
Google Drive for Desktop which you can download either for your Windows
computer or your Macintosh system. As a person who has had personal
experience with what Google Drive for Desktop has to offer, I will say that
(at least in Windows) you get an interface to your Google Drive which feels
very much like File Explorer for Windows and is quite navigable with JAWS.
According to the page which describes Google Drive for Desktop
<https://blog.google/products/drive/drive-for-desktop/>:

While many people access Google Drive directly from their web browser or
from mobile apps, some people prefer to have access to their files and
photos directly on their desktop, just like files that are stored locally on
your device. Drive for desktop is an application for
<https://dl.google.com/drive-file-stream/GoogleDriveSetup.exe> Windows and
<https://dl.google.com/drive-file-stream/GoogleDrive.dmg> macOS that lets
you quickly access content directly from your desktop, helping you easily
access files and folders in a familiar location. Drive for desktop also
automatically syncs local files to the cloud in the background, which
minimizes the time you need to spend waiting for files to sync.

With Drive for desktop, you can access files directly from the cloud on your
Mac or PC, which frees up your disk space and saves your network bandwidth.
Because Drive files are stored in the cloud, any changes you or your
collaborators make are automatically updated everywhere, and you'll always
have access to the latest version.

JAWS users, take note that the installation program may appear not to be
accessible due to buttons that appear to be marked with incomprehensible
text. Should you encounter this problem, be sure that in JAWS, "Use
accessibility driver for screen capture" is turned on.

NVDA users, be forewarned that the buttons will show up as unlabeled.

Best regards,

Curtis Chong
