[HIABS] TUESDAY - Please Ask Senator Taniguchi to Hear SB 2208

Aloha, my Federation Ohana:

Some of our leaders, as well as some leaders of the Democratic Party of Hawaii, met with Senator Brian Taniguchi today to discuss our parental rights bill. We met with him because he is the Chair of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, and he personally gets to decide to schedule this bill for a hearing.

If he decides not to schedule the bill, the bill is dead, and that's all there is to it.

If we can convince him to schedule a hearing, then we still have a chance. We need the hearing to be this week, ideally Thursday.

So, please contact Senator Taniguchi to RESPECTFULLY REQUEST that he schedule SB 2208, Relating to a Right to Parent for Blind Persons, for a hearing.
