I have been asked to forward the following concerning a special celebration of the 20th anniversary of the signing into law of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA). Please be assured that for those in Lawrence return transportation will be provided via Independence, Inc. If you can join our celebration from outside of Lawrence or the Douglas County area, we would be delighted if you can join us.

You're invited to the 20th  Anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act on Monday, July 26, 2010, 6 to 8 pm. The ADA Celebration will take place on the west side of South Park, in Lawrence, Kansas. In case of inclement weather, the event will occur in St John's Church hall in the 1200 block of Kentucky St, Lawrence KS.

Speakers! Music! Fun! Door Prizes! Accessible transportation thru Independence, Inc. is available for rides home after the event. To schedule a ride please call Bob Mikesic at 785-841-0333 ext 107 by noon on July 26th.
