The Old Farmer’s Almanac desk top day calendar fact of the day November 3. 
In 1819 on, Charles Barbier invented a way for soldiers to communicate at night without speaking. Called night writing it involved interpreting by feel a code of raised dots and dashes. A blind boy named Louis Braille simplified it, creating the Braille code used today. 
Question, dose November 3 have any attachment to this event.
