Dear federationists,

   we, in Wichita almost lost  transit and para Saturday services, because
of budget cyts.  However, 200 people showed up at the city council public
forum, on Thursday June 23rd.  I want to thank all of you, of the NFB
South CCentral chapter, who actively participated and it paid off.  For the
news, on Friday, the 24th stated that Saturday transit services will not be
cut.

   Grass root advocacy works and we can make changes, one step at a time.
