Just come on down... There will be some extra sighted volunteers that Donna has recruited.  We can work it out anyway by makeing the driver our sighted partner if we need to.  I will post more info about what notes we will be taking.

Well I will be there also and I don't have a sighted partner to ride with either and Leonard doesn't have a one either.

Subject: [Home-on-the-range] Saturday Bus riding Event in Wichita






Hi, all. On Saturday the 28th, members of the South Central Chapter who use the Wichita Transit buses will meet at the metrapolitan Transit Authority at 10 am.  We will divide up and attempt to have a bland rider, as well as a sighted one, travel each route to evaluate the short-comings of the accessability system which is supposed to name off the streets along the route over the bus PA system. Those interested should plan to meet inside  the north end of the MTA building around 10 AM. We will choose our routes and go from there. Also, this is a great time for those unfamiliar with the bus system to tag along and learn.
